Limited Series from Lucasfilm Launches Exclusively on Disney+ May 27\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
Today, to kick off\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0Day, Disney+ released a brand-new trailer and key art for \u201cObi-Wan Kenobi,<\/strong>\u201d offering a riveting look at the highly anticipated limited series.\u00a0\u201cObi-Wan Kenobi<\/strong>\u201d will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, May 27, with the first two episodes. Following the premiere, the series will stream weekly on Wednesdays, until the finale on Wednesday, June 22.<\/p>\n
The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of \u201cStar Wars: Revenge of the Sith<\/strong>\u201d where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat\u2014the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.<\/p>\nFifth Brother (Sung Kang, center) and Stormtroopers in a scene from Lucasfilm’s OBI-WAN KENOBI, exclusively on Disney+. \u00a9 2022 Lucasfilm Ltd. & \u2122. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and\u00a0also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O\u2019Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.<\/p>\n
