And she\u2019ll soon be seen in four more soon-to-be-released productions: David O. Russell\u2019s <em><strong>Amsterdam<\/strong><\/em>, Damien Chazelle\u2019s <em><strong>Babylon<\/strong><\/em>, Wes Anderson\u2019s <em><strong>Asteroid City,<\/strong><\/em> and Justin Kurzel\u2019s <em><strong>Ruin<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p>This week, it\u2019s being reported that she\u2019s been tapped to star in a prequel to another Warner Brothers offering in the <em><strong>Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/strong><\/em> franchise. Though the comedy film has not yet been greenlit, it might go into production in the spring of 2023. While details about the plot are sketchy, it\u2019s expected that the setting will be 1960s Europe, unlike other films in the franchise that were set in Las Vegas.<\/p>\r\n<p>Jay Roach is slated to direct the new flick when and if it gets the go-ahead, based on a script by Carrie Solomon. Roach and Robbie have a track record, having worked on <em><strong>Bombshell<\/strong><\/em>, a 2019 production about sexual harassment in the workplace. Other films he directed include <em><strong>All the Way, Trumbo, The Campaign, Game Change, Dinner for Schmucks<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Recount<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p>One of the most prolific purveyors of the \u201cheist\u201d genre, the franchise debuted in 2001 with <em><strong>Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/strong><\/em>, based on the 1960 film starring the so-called Rat Pack: Joey Bishop, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. The 2001 offering starred George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts. Its worldwide gross totaled more than $450 million.
