Netflix has released some photos of Bradley Cooper fully transformed into a renown broadway composer, Leonard Bernstein in a biographical drama \u201cMaestro<\/strong>\u201d which backed by Netflix.<\/p>\n

The photos depicted Bernstein in a different stages of life, with amazing make-up works applied to Cooper to capture his aged Bernstein. Cooper stars with fellow Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan, Matt Bomer and Maya Hawke. Mulligan plays his wife Felicia Montealegre. Cooper co-wrote the script with Oscar-winning “Spotlight<\/strong>”\u00a0<\/i>scribe Josh Singer. The drama spans more than 30 years. Produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Kristie Macosko Krieger, Bradley Cooper, Fred Berner and Amy Durning.<\/p>\n

As Cooper confirmed to Variety<\/a> earlier this year, production on \u201cMaestro<\/strong>\u201d started this month. But subscribers will get the chance to see the film until 2023. When the project was launched, director Steven Spielberg was originally attached to helm a Bernstein biopic and recruited Cooper to star in it. But Cooper was coming off receiving the rave reviews from \u201cA Star Is Born<\/strong>,\u201d so his interest gear towards more writing and directing movies than taking on an acting role for someone else, even Spielberg.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always felt like I could play a conductor, but may I research the material and see if I can write it and direct it? Would you let me do that?\u2019\u201d Cooper said. \u201cSteven has a lot of interests \u2014 he\u2019ll just choose one thing and all of the other things will be on hold. I think he knew he wasn\u2019t going to make that movie for a while. He was kind enough to hand it off to me, and that\u2019s what I\u2019ve been doing for the last four and a half years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper recently appeared in Guillermo del Toro\u2019s \u201cNightmare Alley<\/strong>.\u201d His 2018 directorial debut \u201cA Star Is Born<\/strong>\u201d had a successful run at the box office, earning $436 million worldwide and eight Oscar nominations, including best picture.<\/p>\n
