Industry observers say Lawrence was a shoo-in given his success with the <em><strong>Hunger Games<\/strong><\/em> franchise after Gary Ross\u2019s exit. Lawrence later directed the prequel, <em><strong>Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes<\/strong><\/em>, which is scheduled to make its trilling and hissing debut sometime in 2023.<\/p>\r\n<p>Green will reportedly be adapting the <em><strong>BioShock<\/strong><\/em> script while Lawrence is currently engaged in other projects, such as <em><strong>Slumberland<\/strong><\/em>, which will debut later this year.
