Enduring such typical adolescent angst as balancing school with family dynamics, friendships and crushes is difficult enough for most teenagers. But those challenges are becoming even more amplified for the young female protagonists in the new horror comedy, My Best Friend’s Exorcism<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

The film’s main characters, who are played by Elsie Fisher<\/a>, Amiah Miller, Cathy Ang and Rachel Ogechi Kanu, must grapple with an otherworldly demon that takes residence in one of their bodies and refuses to leave. As a result, her friends must set out to prove that they’re just as much of a force to be reckoned with as the unwanted deadly intruder.<\/p>\n

The thriller was written and produced by Jenna Lamia, who based the script on author Grady Hendrix’s 2016 bestselling novel of the same name. The screen adaptation was directed by Damon Thomas (Killing Eve<\/em><\/strong>, Penny Dreadful<\/em><\/strong>).<\/p>\n
