The new film The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry<\/em><\/strong>, adapted by and based on Gabrielle Zevin\u2019s novel of the same name, tells the story of a disgruntled and recently widowed bookstore owner on a small island struggling to find purpose in his life. Among the other great characters in the ensemble is Lambiase, a local cop who finds more excitement in the pages of mystery novels than he does in his small-town job and develops a warm friendship with Fikry.<\/p>\n

I had the chance to speak with David Arquette, who portrays Lambiase, about the appeal of this endearing project and getting to know the locals in Cape Cod, where the film was shot.<\/p>\n

He also talked about his experiences being part of the Scream<\/em><\/strong> franchise and what he\u2019s come to learn about horror fans, as well as other notable moments from his extensive and impressive career.<\/p>\n
