n celebration of the legendary Stan Lee’s 100th birthday, Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the teaser trailer for Disney+\u2019s forthcoming Stan Lee documentary, which is scheduled to make its debut sometime in 2023.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Marvel Studios had acquired the licensing rights to use Lee\u2019s name, likeness, voice and signature in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects through a 20-year-deal with Stan Lee Universe.<\/p>\n
Further details are still being kept under wraps. The teaser only featured a collection of video clippings that highlight Lee\u2019s memorable movie before his death in 2018.<\/p>\n
Lee is best known for being essentially the architect of Marvel Comics, serving as the company\u2019s creative leader for two decades. He created and co-created (alongside Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby) some of the most popular characters from Marvel, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Daredevil, and Black Panther.<\/p>\n
Lee also established his more naturalistic approach to superheroes, building the situations in real-world settings and dealing with more real-life issues, and helped expand the company from a small publishing house division to a major global multimedia corporation.<\/p>\n
Lee\u2019s work also stretched his imagination to create an adult animated series like \u201cStripperella<\/strong>\u201d starring Pamela Anderson, a reality series and comics for other outlets \u2013 including DC Comics, where he reimagined much of the core Justice League for the Elseworlds style \u201cJust Imagine\u201d comic line.<\/p>\n Following his retirement from Marvel in the 1990s, Lee remained a public figurehead for the company and was known for his cameo appearances in films and television shows based on Marvel characters.
