Andy Muschietti will direct multiple episodes of the series, including the first episode.<\/p>\n

Set in the world of Stephen King\u2019s \u201cIT\u201d universe, \u201cWELCOME TO DERRY<\/strong>\u201d is based on King\u2019s \u201cIT\u201d novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the\u00a0feature films \u201cIT<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cIT Chapter Two<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWELCOME TO DERRY<\/strong>\u201d is produced by HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television. Jason Fuchs will write the teleplay for the first episode, based on a story by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Fuchs.<\/p>\n
