This marks Cronenberg\u2019s first film since <em>Maps to the Stars<\/em>, which won star Julianne Moore the Best Actress prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Producer Robert Lantos shared his excitement: \u201cI am looking forward to returning to Greece to shoot another film with Argonauts.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> online pharmacy <a href=\"https:\/\/greendalept.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/png\/lexapro.html\">buy lexapro<\/a> with best prices today in the USA <\/div>\n<p> It has been 14 years since we shot <em>Fugitive Pieces<\/em> in Athens, Hydra and Mitilini, an experience of which I have fond and positive souvenirs. Athens is the perfect setting for <em>Crimes Of The Future<\/em>, as it is bespoke tailoring for David Cronenberg\u2019s unique vision of a future which intermingles with the past.\u201d This is one of several projects slated to film in Greece, including Disney Plus\u2019 <em>Greek Freak<\/em>, the sequel to <em>Knives Out<\/em>, season three of <em>Jack Ryan<\/em>, and the long-awaited <em>My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian director Cronenberg has an eclectic resume, which includes <em>The Fly<\/em>, <em>Naked Lunch<\/em>, and <em>Cosmopolis<\/em>. For <em>Crimes of the Future<\/em>, Cronenberg is again working with actor Viggo Mortensen after <em>A History of Violence, Eastern Promises<\/em>, and <em>A Dangerous Method<\/em>. Mortensen is the one who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/viggo-mortensen-falling-interview\/\">first discussed<\/a> this project back in February while promoting his own directorial debut, <em>Falling<\/em>, when he described it as a \u201cstrange film noir story,\u201d one that he called \u201cdisturbing and good\u201d and suggested might take him \u201cback to his origins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This upcoming film bears the same title as Cronenberg\u2019s second-ever feature, which was released in 1970 and is available in full on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=i9tbuTOUvVU\">YouTube<\/a>.
