Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Murphy, who is a personal friend of Kardashian, was reportedly highly impressed with the star&#8217;s appearance as a host on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>. No further details about the upcoming production have been released, other than a teaser posted on Kardashian\u2019s Instagram account as well as that of Ryan Murphy Productions. The posting depicted the phrase \u201cEmma and Kim are delicate\u201d as \u201cRock-a-Bye Baby\u201d played in the background.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDelicate\u201d is the title given to the new series, which is based partly on the soon-to-be-published novel <em>Delicate Condition<\/em>, by Danielle Valentine. A cover blurb calls the novel \u201cthe feminist update to <em>Rosemary\u2019s Baby<\/em> we all needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier installments in the series had included starring performances by Jessica Lange in season one and Lady Gaga in season five. Emma Roberts had been part of the <em><strong>American Horror Story<\/strong><\/em> rotating cast since 2013, with Coven. She also appeared in <em><strong>AHS<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s <em>Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse<\/em>, and <em>1984<\/em>. Scriptwriter Feiffer\u2019s credits include <em>Dear Edward, Roar, Kidding, <\/em>and <em>Impeachment: American Crime Story.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Shooting for the new <em>Delicate<\/em> season will begin later this month in New York City, with the show expected to debut this summer. <em><strong>AHS<\/strong> <\/em>has earned 13 Emmy Primetime Awards out of more than 100 nominations.
