Taylor Schilling, best known for her starring role in Netflix\u2019s Orange is the New Black<\/em>, has been added to the cast of Hulu\u2019s forthcoming limited series Pam & Tommy<\/em>, according to Deadline<\/a>. She joins a formidable cast that already includes Lily James, Sebastian Stan, Nick Offerman, and Seth Rogen. New recurring players announced are Spenser Granese and Mozhan Marn\u00f2. The show will be written by Robert Siegel and DV DeVincentis and directed by Craig Gillespie.<\/p>\n

The focus of the series is on the relationship between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee and their sex tape, described as the first-ever viral video. James, a familiar face from Downton Abbey<\/em>, Baby Driver<\/em>, and more, will play Anderson, while Stan, who just wrapped a high-profile gig on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em>, will play Lee. This is a reteaming for Stan and Gillespie, who last collaborated on I, Tonya<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Rogen is set to portray Rand, the man who stole the sex tape, while Schilling will now play his wife, porn star Erica. Offerman is playing porn magnate Uncle Miltie, who was responsible for the distribution of the tape. Granese has been cast as Steve, an employee of Miltie\u2019s, and Marn\u00f2 will play Gail, Anderson\u2019s publicist.<\/p>\n

The sex tape scandal took place in 1995 and will figure into the storyline of this eight-episode series, which will examine the entire relationship between model Anderson and the the Motley Cr\u00fce\u00a0drummer Lee beginning with their marriage, which took place just 96 hours after they met.<\/p>\n

Also on board the project are Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the duo known for Superbad<\/em>, Good Boys<\/em>, and other raunchy comedies, as producers via their Point Grey company, Dave Franco, Sue Naegle, Limelight\u2019s Dylan Sellers and Annapurna\u2019s Megan Ellison.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
