Jonathan Majors<\/a> has been dropped by his longtime talent manager, Entertainment 360. The company’s decision comes three weeks after the Magazine Dreams <\/em><\/strong>star was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City, Deadline<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n

Entertainment 360’s decision to part ways with the Creed III<\/em><\/strong> and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania<\/em><\/strong> actor was also due to issues surrounding his overall personal behavior.<\/p>\n

Majors’ representation problems also extend past Entertainment 360. His public relations manager, The Lede Company, also initiated a break with him in the last month.<\/p>\n

The Avengers <\/em><\/strong>actor’s career troubles also extend past his management and PR representation. He and fashion house Valentino have mutually agreed that he won’t attending this year’s Met Gala as one of its guests, as originally planned.<\/p>\n

Before his representation and legal troubles, Majors shot the second season of Marvel\/Disney+’s Loki<\/em><\/strong>, in which he reprises his villainous role of Kang the Conqueror. He’s still expected to appear in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty<\/em><\/strong>, as there hasn’t been any discussions among Marvel executives to drop the actor from the MCU.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old Majors was arrested in Manhattan on March 25. He was charged with assault and harassment over an alleged domestic dispute with an unidentified 30-year old woman.<\/p>\n

New York police responded to a 911 call, leading to Majors being taken into custody. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to her head and neck, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The actor, who remains represented by WME, is expected to appear before a judge on May 8. He faces multiple counts of harassment and assault from the New York City D.A.<\/p>\n

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” the actor’s criminal defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, told\u00a0Deadline<\/a> in a March 27 statement. “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”<\/p>\n

Chaudhry added at the time that the “evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.”<\/p>\n

Majors’ attorney has also released a set of text messages to the media, which protect the woman’s identity. In the texts, the woman took blame for the fight.<\/p>\n

The texts read: “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I only just got out of hospital. Just call me when you’re out. I love you.”<\/p>\n

Majors’ altercation comes amidst a successful start in his career in 2023. Before his arrest, he was widely seen as a rising star in Hollywood. Creed III <\/em><\/strong>and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania <\/em><\/strong>have grossed a combined $745 million at the box office. On the television side, the actor was nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy Award in 2021 for his role on Lovecraft Country<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Majors\u00a0also received critical acclaim for his performance as a mentally disturbed amateur bodybuilder in Magazine Dreams<\/strong><\/em>, which had its World Premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. <\/em>Disney’s Searchlight Pictures acquired the drama out of the festival, beating several bidders. The studio will release the movie on December 8.<\/p>\n
