Life has all but disappeared. A sequel, <em>Dawn of the Dead<\/em>, was released in 1978, followed by <em>Day of the Dead<\/em> in 1985 and the three other films in the series mentioned above. George also wrote a remake of the original film that was released in 1990 and directed by Tom Savini.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding Zelati and his partners continuing her husband\u2019s legacy, Suzanne expressed that \u201cI gave him my full blessing as long as I could be there every step of the way for it to remain true to George\u2019s vision. We had a solid treatment and the beginning of the script. I can 100 percent say that George would be incredibly happy to see this continue.
