Meadow Walker Thornton-Allan, the daughter of the late Fast & Furious<\/strong><\/em> star Paul Walker, will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming Fast X<\/strong><\/em> installment, to open in theaters on May 19.

Fast X<\/strong><\/em> will be the tenth installment in Universal’s Fast & Furious<\/strong> <\/em>franchise. Actor and film producer Vin Diesel recently hinted that the finale in the series might be spread across three films. He was quoted as saying. \u201cGoing into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter. And after the studio saw this one, they said, \u2018Could you make Fast X<\/strong>, the finale, a trilogy?’\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Meanwhile, Thornton-Allan says her appearance will be a tribute to her father, who died in a racing-car accident in December of 2013. In an Instagram posting this week, she wrote: \u201cThe first [F]ast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the [F]ast family.\u201d

\u201cI can\u2019t believe now I get to be up there too,\u201d she added. The model-actor ended her posting by declaring she felt \u201cso blessed to be able to honor my father\u2019s legacy and share this with him forever.\u201d

Paul Walker originally appeared as undercover cop Brian O\u2019Connor in The Fast and the Furious<\/strong><\/em>, which debuted in 2001. He starred in six more sequels, the last being Furious 7<\/strong>, which was released posthumously in 2015.

The upcoming Fast X<\/strong><\/em> film will include cast regulars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris, joined by other veterans of the franchise such as Rita Moreno and Helen Mirren. Fast X<\/strong><\/em> will also introduce Jason Momoa in the role of Dante Reyes, who seeks revenge against the Fast Family for their actions in Fast Five<\/strong><\/em>. He had earlier told Vanity Fair<\/em> that Fast X<\/strong><\/em> would end on a cliffhanger that would segue into the next film in the franchise.

\u201cYou\u2019re going to feel so cheated in a way, but then so gratified and excited about what\u2019s to come. I can\u2019t divulge more than that, but get ready for a shocker. After 23 years of shooting these things, it\u2019s really tough at this stage to shock me, and they got me good,\u201d said Momoa.

Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel will write the eleventh Fast & Furious<\/strong><\/em> film (the second part of Fast X<\/strong><\/em>). It will be directed by franchise veteran Louis Leterrier.<\/p>\r\n
