Warner Bros. Pictures has released the second official trailer for “Dune : Part Two”\u00a0which is a lengthy three minutes of planet-hopping action. It\u2019s time for Paul Atreides to fulfill his destiny.<\/p>\n

The new trailer from director Denis Villeneuve\u2019s adaptation of a beloved Sci-fi author Frank Herbert\u2019s classic novel shows Paul Atreides goes deep into the desert of Arrakis, and he and Chani (Zendaya) engaging in their war against the evil Harkonnens, while Paul wrestles with being worshiped as prophet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The trailer also features Austin Butler as an albino Feyd Rautha, whom Villeneuve has described as<\/a> an \u201cOlympic sword master crossed with a psychotic serial killer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other newcomers to the saga include Florence Pugh\u00a0as Princess Irulan Corrino, L\u00e9a Seydoux as Lady Margot and Souheila Yacoub as Shishakli.<\/p>\n

Basically, though, “Dune: Part Two<\/strong>“<\/i> will do what David Lynch was unable to do in his cult 1984 film\u00a0adaptation of the Frank Herbert novel.<\/p>\n

Returning stars include Rebecca Ferguson\u00a0(Lady Jessica Atreides),\u00a0Javier Bardem (Stilgar),\u00a0Josh Brolin\u00a0(Gurney Halleck), Stellan Skarsgard (Baron Vladimir Harkonnen),\u00a0Dave Bautista\u00a0(Glossu Rabban Harkonnen),\u00a0Charlotte Rampling\u00a0(Reverend Mother Mohiam) and Stephen McKinley Henderson (Thufir Hawat).<\/p>\n

The first film\u00a0went on to garner critical acclaim from fans and critics, opened simultaneously in domestic theaters and on HBO Max on October 22nd 2021. It grossed $400.6 million at the worldwide box office. Ended up receiving a whopping 10 Academy Award nominations. It won six of them, including Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects.<\/p>\n
