Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for \u201cSly,<\/strong>\u201d which chronicles Sylvester Stallone\u2019s highs and lows of his near 50-year Hollywood career.\u00a0\u201cSly<\/strong>\u201d is directed by Thom Zimny (\u201cSpringsteen on Broadway\u201d) and produced by Sean Stuart.<\/p>\n The 40-second clip doesn\u2019t give much away about the content of the documentary.\u00a0But in the first-look clip, Stallone asks in a teaser, \u201cHell yeah, I have regrets.\u201d Stallone reflects on his career achievements and their costs. \u201cWhat is healthier \u2014 to live under the illusion that you could have been great? Or actually have an opportunity to be great, and then you blow it, and you realize you\u2019re a failure?\u201d Take us back to his memory lane including his first trip to the Oscars in 1977, where \u201cRocky<\/strong>\u201d won best picture.<\/p>\n The official logline explains of the film : \u201cFor nearly 50 years, Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, from “Rocky<\/strong>” to “Rambo<\/strong>” to “The Expendables<\/strong>.” This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog-story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.\u201d<\/p>\n Stallone also serves as an executive producer on the documentary alongside Bill Zanker, Sam Delcanto, Braden Aftergood, Jon Beyer, Tom Forman and Jenny Daly, with Maren Domzalski and Adrienne Gerard as co-producers.<\/p>\n Even though his iconic character Rocky Balboa put his grove down in the latest franchise of \u201cCreed III<\/strong>\u201d, he was bust than ever, he actor recently starred in his first TV series, Paramount+\u2019s \u201cTulsa King<\/strong>,\u201d followed by \u201cThe Family Stallone<\/strong>\u201d reality series, which also featured his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone and their three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.<\/p>\n On the big screen, Stallone has been playing the supporting role in Marvel\u2019s \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/strong>\u201d and 2021\u2019s \u201cThe Suicide Squad<\/strong>,\u201d where the actor voiced King Shark.
