Ad Joe, having never fully processed what happened in his youth, starts to confront the reality of life as an empty-nester at 36.<\/p>\n<p>Todd Haynes&#8217;\u00a0tenth feature film,\u00a0\u201c<strong>May December<\/strong>,\u201d reunites the director with his longtime collaborator and star Julianne Moore,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>she worked with Haynes on \u201c<strong>Safe<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>Wonderstruck<\/strong>,\u201d and \u201c<strong>Far from Heaven<\/strong>.\u201d Besides Portman and Moore, the film casts<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>also Piper Curda, Elizabeth Yu, and Gabriel Chung, who play Moore and Melton\u2019s on-screen children.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>May December<\/strong>\u201d is from a Black List script by Samy Burch with a story by Burch and Alex Mechanik.
