Gadot played the role of Diana Prince \/ Wonder Woman in the superhero flick distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>In her interview with N12 News, Gadot told Yuna Leibzon that Whedon \u201ckind of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>threatened my career and said if I did something he would make my career miserable.\u201d The dispute arose when Whedon tried to dissuade Gadot from changing lines that would make her character less aggressive than her earlier <strong>Wonder Woman<\/strong> role.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/gal-gadot-joss-whedon-theatened-career-justice-league-1234950466\/\"><i>The Hollywood Reporter<\/i><\/a> had earlier published a story alleging Whedon\u2019s \u201ctoxic behavior on set\u201d and claiming that Gadot wanted to make the script changes \u201cto make [her] character flow from one movie to the next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to this article, a witness to the incident had told investigators that \u201cJoss was bragging that he\u2019s had it out with Gal. He told her he\u2019s the writer and she\u2019s going to shut up<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gadot has been noticeably circumspect about the situation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As reported in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/05\/gal-gadot-joss-whedon-threatened-career-justice-league-shoot-1234752563\/\"><i>Deadline<\/i><\/a>, \u201cGadot has previously acknowledged her own run-in with Whedon. But she merely said at the time she had an \u2018experience\u2019 with him, \u2018which wasn\u2019t the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whedon has denied the allegations, but WarnerMedia confirmed that \u201cremedial action\u201d was taken after an internal investigation, while offering no further specifics. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gadot is not the only performer to have been critical of Joss Whedon\u2019s behavior. Earlier, actor Ray Fisher tweeted that the director was responsible for \u201cgross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable conduct\u201d during the filming of <strong><i>Justice League<\/i><\/strong>.
