Crunchyroll<\/a> and Sony Pictures Entertainment<\/a> have announced that they have acquired the North American and select global theatrical rights to “Spy x Family Code : White<\/strong>,” they will\u00a0 <\/span>team up to release the first film installment of the\u00a0TV series. In addition to the North American rights, Crunchyroll also has rights for Latin America, Australia\/New Zealand and select territories in Europe including Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, according to Anime News Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpy Family\u201d is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, he\u2019s also credited with the original work and original character designs for this film, and is also supervising the film as well. The original manga serialized in Shueisha\u2019s Shonen Jump Plus, the manga currently has more than 31 million copies in circulation and has been nominated for both Harvey and Eisner awards.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the story of popular manga, He’s a spy. She’s an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of their exciting secrets unbeknownst to them. While under the guise of taking his family on a weekend winter getaway, Loid’s attempt to make progress on his current mission Operation Strix proves difficult when Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace!<\/p>\n

Takashi Katagiri is\u00a0directing the film, and Ichiro Okouchi is the scriptwriter. Kazuaki Shimada\u00a0is the character designer, and Kana Ishida\u00a0is the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asano\u00a0is the chief animation director and also drew the above visual. Kazuhiro Furuhashi\u00a0is the animation supervisor. [K]NoW_Name\u00a0is the music producer, and Soji Hata\u00a0is the sound director.<\/p>\n

The TV series “Spy x Family<\/strong>” originally debuted on April 9, 2022, the second season launched October 7 on Crunchyroll.<\/p>\n
