Sony Pictures<\/a> has dropped a trailer for hot and edgy comedy, \u201cAnyone But You<\/strong>\u201d which is starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell in an explicit sex scene together.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this steamy comedy\u00a0“<\/span>Anyone But You<\/i><\/b>,” Bea (Sydney Sweeney<\/a>) and Ben (Glen Powell<\/a>) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.<\/p>\n

Besides Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell, Anyone But You also stars Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet and Rachel Griffiths. The film is directed by Will Gluck with the story by Ilana Wolpert. The screenplay was done by Ilana Wolpert and Will Gluck.<\/p>\n

Will also served as a producer along with Joe Roth, and Jeff Kirschenbaum. Alyssa Altman, Jacqueline Monetta, Catherine Bishop, Natalie Sellers, Charlie Corwin, Sidney Kimmel, Mark O\u2019Connor, Sydney Sweeney, and Jonathan Davino are executive producers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Will Gluck, co-writer and director says in Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, “I blame myself, the teaser wasn’t well received and I put that completely on my own shoulders. We tried to get too cute with it. It is a big fun comedy, and if you saw that teaser without anything else, you’d think, ‘Is someone going to get killed? Is this a thriller?’ That was a mistake on my part. I just wanted people to lean in and say, ‘What is this?'”<\/p>\n

“People leaned in [to the teaser] and said, ‘I’m not going to like this,’ which is not what the movie is,” adds Gluck. “The movie an edgy R-rated comedy with romance and farcical elements. It’s big music numbers and wish fulfillment. You get to see sunny Australia in the middle of winter in the West. That’s what you’re going to see in the trailer. So wipe that [teaser] out of your memory.”<\/p>\n
