Starring <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/news\/charlize-theron-getting-her-own-fast-furious-spinoff\/\">Charlize Theron<\/a> and Daniel Craig, the film is now in development, with Dan Mazeau as scriptwriter. <br \/><br \/>News about the project was first published in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/charlize-theron-daniel-craig-justin-lin-two-for-the-money-1235725680\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. <\/em>Though no details have been released about the plot, it is known that the storyline focuses on the relationship between two career criminals as they plot several major heists.<br \/><br \/>Lin, a Taiwanese American, first came to prominence in 2003 with <em><strong>Better Luck Tomorrow<\/strong><\/em>, which debuted at Sundance. As a student, he had earlier collaborated with Quentin Lee in co-directing <em><strong>Shopping for Fangs<\/strong><\/em>, which has become an Asian American cult classic. Lin went on to helm six movies in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/news\/will-louis-leterrier-replace-justin-lin-as-director-of-fast-x\/\"><em><strong>Fast &amp; Furious<\/strong><\/em><\/a> series before recently severing his ties with the franchise. Before he starts work on the new film, however, Lin will be focused on directing <em><strong>The Last Days of John Allen Chau<\/strong><\/em>, an independent film that will soon be starting production in Thailand.<br \/>.<br \/>According to press reports, Lin and Mazeau hatched the idea for <em><strong>Two for the Money<\/strong><\/em> while they were working on <em><strong>Fast X<\/strong><\/em>. They pitched the idea to Theron, who agreed to participate.<br \/>Theron will be producing the planned film via Denver &amp; Delilah while Lin will be producing it through Perfect Storm Entertainment.<br \/><br \/>Apple Original Films has recently landed a number of hot properties, including Martin Scorsese\u2019s <em><strong>Killers of the Flower Moon<\/strong><\/em> and Ridley Scott\u2019s <em><strong>Napoleon<\/strong><\/em>. Among its upcoming projects are Steve McQueen\u2019s <em><strong>Blitz<\/strong> <\/em>as well as <em><strong>The Instigators<\/strong> <\/em>and the spy thriller <em><strong>Argylle<\/strong><\/em>.<br \/><br \/>Charlize Theron\u2019s most recent project has been a starring role in <em><strong>The Old Guard 2<\/strong><\/em>, which will be released by Netflix in 2024, while Daniel Craig appeared in Rian Johnson\u2019s <em><strong>Glass Onion<\/strong><\/em>.
