He attended Deerfield Academy and graduated from Columbia University in 2001. Benson made his directorial debut film <strong>The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby<\/strong>. After Chastain asked questions about the background, Benson wrote another script devoted entirely to her perspective, and she joined the cast.\u00a0<sup id=\"cite_ref-8\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> It was shot as two films simultaneously. They were premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival under the title\u00a0<i><strong>The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her<\/strong>. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time traveling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min).
