Heder\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/trailers\/sundance-winning-film-coda-official-trailer-apple-tv\/\"><strong><em>CODA<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2022. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0093560\/\">Mark Bomback<\/a> will be writing the screenplay based on a draft by Zevin. The film will be produced by Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, and Isaac Klausner via Temple Hill.<br \/><br \/><em><strong>Tomorrow\u2026<\/strong><\/em> narrates the tale of Sam and Sadie, two childhood friends from Los Angeles who reunite years later as pioneer video-game creators in England. According to the film\u2019s official synopsis: \u201cThe relationship explores the intimacy, passion, and heartbreak of creative collaboration, set against the visually groundbreaking worlds brought to life by the rising video game industry of the 1990s-2000s.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1774669342741533\" data-ad-slot=\"1211148813\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\u00a0<br \/><br \/>Published in 2022, Zevin\u2019s novel sold more than 2.8 million copies worldwide and appeared for 50 weeks on the <em><strong>New York Times<\/strong><\/em> best-seller list. The publisher\u2019s blurb described the book as one that \u201cexamines the multifarious nature of identity, disability, failure, the redemptive possibilities in play, and above all, our need to connect: to be loved and to love.\u201d<br \/><br \/>Si\u00e2n Heder made her directorial debut at Sundance 2016 with <strong><em>Tallulah<\/em><\/strong>, a dramedy that starred Elliot Page and Alison Janney, and Tammy Blanchard. Her most acclaimed film, <strong><em>CODA<\/em><\/strong>, debuted at Sundance in 2021, becoming the first feature to win all four of the major awards at the festival. It later won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (for Troy Kotsur).
