Samuel L. Jackson<\/a> and Henry Golding<\/a> will reportedly star in Head Games<\/strong><\/em>, an upcoming sci-fi thriller to be directed by Anthony Mandler<\/a> from a script by Colin Sonne Liddle<\/a>. According to published reports, the storyline of the film tracks the activities of a corporate spy who masquerades as a personal chef to steal technical data from the executive of a neuroprosthetics company.

Jeffrey Greenstein, who heads up the production and sales company known as A Higher Standard, will handle international sales and serve as one of the executive producers. Domestic sales in the U.S. will be under the aegis of CAA Media Finance and Range Media Partners. It’s expected that further details will be released after negotiations at this month’s Cannes festival.<\/p>\r\n

Expressing enthusiasm for the casting decision, Greenstein was quoted in Deadline<\/em><\/a> as saying: \u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited to bring this brilliant script to life. Head Games<\/strong><\/em> is a propulsive story that pushes the boundaries of what we know as reality and what could ultimately become fiction before our eyes.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Continuing, Greenstein stated, \u201cThe buildup and ultimate unraveling of these characters is both a metaphor for our culture today as well as a foreshadowing to what\u2019s to come. I couldn\u2019t think of two better actors to bring Graham and Jacob to life than Sam and Henry.\u201d

Jackson, who was seen recently in Argylle<\/strong> <\/em>and Damaged<\/strong><\/em>, also has upcoming roles in The Garfield Movie<\/strong><\/em>, The Piano Lesson<\/strong><\/em>, and Unholy Trinity<\/strong><\/em>. Golding\u2019s most recent part was in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare<\/strong><\/em>, and he will soon appear in a trio of films including The Old Guard 2<\/strong><\/em>, Daniela Forever<\/strong><\/em>, and a sequel for A Simple Favor. He also played the role of Nick Young in John M. Chu’s 2018 romcom, Crazy Rich Asians<\/strong><\/em>.
