Actor and writer <\/span>Sarah Solemani might not be as well known on \u201cthis side of the pond,\u201d although she had a key role in <\/span>Bridget Jones\u2019 Baby<\/b><\/em> a few years back, and she wrote an episode of HBO\u2019s <\/span>Barry<\/i><\/b>, for which she won a Writers Guild award.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/ins>\n

Now, she\u2019s co-created, written and co-stars in the new streaming series, <\/span>Chivalry<\/i><\/b>, with Steve Coogan, as the first original comedy on the new free ad-supported premium streamer called \u201c<\/span>The Network<\/span><\/a>.\u201d Currently, it\u2019s a six-issue limited series set in Hollywood with Coogan playing producer Cameron, who finds himself having to suddenly replace the director on his movie, so he brings on Solemani\u2019s Bobby, as the two of them find themselves dealing with the post-#MeToo movement and what that entails. Besides co-starring <\/span>Wanda Sykes, there are a lot of fun celebrity cameos from the likes of Sienna Miller, Paul Rudd, John C. Reilly, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cinema Daily US had a chance to speak with Solemani over Zoom from London (where she\u2019s filming the follow-up to <\/span>Bridget Jones\u2019 Baby<\/i><\/b>), about her collaboration with Coogan, getting the likes of <\/span>Sienna Miller on board, and plans for a second season.<\/span><\/p>\n
