The new project directed by <\/span>Louis Leterrier<\/b><\/a>, a horror movie titled <\/span>11817<\/b>, is very close to having <\/span>Greta Lee<\/b><\/a> (<\/span>Past Lives<\/b>) and <\/span>Kingsley Ben-Adir <\/b><\/a>(<\/span>Bob Marley: One Love<\/b>) as main actors. The story follows a family of four which gets trapped in their own house by evil forces: as time goes by, they start to run out of food, water and other resources, while they keep having no clue about who – or what – is forcing them inside the luxurious house. The screenplay has been written by <\/span>Mathew Robinson, while the company <\/span>Rocket Science is fully financing the project. The foreign sales are going to start in a few days during the <\/span>Cannes Film Festival, while <\/span>CAA Media Finance is handling the American rights.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After the success of <\/span>Past Lives<\/b> by <\/span>Celine Song<\/a> (Academy Awards nominated as best picture and best original screenplay), Greta Lee is now filming <\/span>Tron: Ares <\/b>together with <\/span>Gillian Anderson, <\/span>Jared Leto, <\/span>Evan Peters and <\/span>Jeff Bridges, who in 1982 was the protagonist of the original <\/span>Tron<\/b>. After the excellent result of <\/span>Bob Marley: One Love <\/b>at the box office with almost 100 million dollars grossed in the United States,\u00a0 K<\/strong><\/span>ingsley Ben-Adir<\/strong> is one of the most acclaimed actors on the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/ins>\n

In the past few yers he has shown his remarkable acting skills in <\/span>One Night in Miami<\/b> by <\/span>Regina King, where he played the leader for the Civil Rights Movement <\/span>Malcolm X<\/b>. Last year he participated in a supporting role in <\/span>Barbie<\/b> by <\/span>Greta Gerwig, the biggest movie of the year grossing almost 1.5 billion dollars all over the world. Both Greta Lee and Kingsley Ben-Adir had their breakthrough thanks to television, thanks to the TV series <\/span>The Morning Show<\/b> (Lee) and <\/span>The OA <\/b>(Ben-Adir)<\/span><\/p>\n

11817<\/strong> will not be the next movie by Louis Leterrier we\u2019ll see on the big screen: the French filmmaker is in fact working on the next episode of the <\/span>Fast & Furious<\/b> franchise, Fast X Part Two<\/strong> after directing the last <\/span>Fast X<\/b>. Among his box-office hits there are <\/span>The Transporter <\/b>starring <\/span>Jason Statham, <\/span>Clash of the Titans<\/b> starring <\/span>Sam Worthington and <\/span>Now You See Me<\/b>, starring <\/span>Jesse Eisenberg, <\/span>Woody Harrelson, <\/span>Mark Ruffalo and many other stars.<\/span><\/p>\n
