Directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1818032\/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1\">Lee Isaac Chung<\/a>, the Oscar nominated writer-director of Minari, Twisters stars Golden Globe nominee <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/?s=Daisy+Edgar-Jones\">Daisy Edgar-Jones<\/a> (Where the Crawdads Sing, Normal People) and <a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/?s=Glen+Powell\">Glen Powell<\/a> (Anyone But You, Top Gun: Maverick) as opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Cooper, played by Edgar-Jones, is an ex-storm chaser who is still haunted by a devastating tornado encounter in college and now studies storm patterns safely on screens in New York City. She and her friend, Javi (Golden Globe nominee Anthony Ramos, In the Heights), are persuaded to return to the open plains to experiment with a groundbreaking new tracking system. She encounters Tyler Owens (Powell), a social-media star who is both charming and reckless and enjoys posting pictures of himself in trouble.<\/p>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1774669342741533\" data-ad-slot=\"1211148813\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the storm season intensifies, new terrifying phenomena are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler, and their competing teams are confronted with multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma, where they are fighting for their lives.<\/p>\n<p>In the trailer, \u201cWe\u2019ve never seen tornados like this before!\u201d \u201cIf you feel it, chase it!\u201d \u201cSometimes the old ways are better than the new!\u201d \u201cYou can always trust a guy who puts his face on a t-shirt!\u201d \u201cYou don\u2019t face your fears, you ride \u2018em!\u201d \u201cWe got twins!
