Following Caroline in the City, he went on to star on three NBC sitcoms- <strong>Fired Up<\/strong>, <strong>Conrad Bloom<\/strong>, and <strong>Good Morning, Miami!<\/strong>. He also made appearances on <strong>Ally McBeal<\/strong> (2000), <strong>Once and Again<\/strong> (2000-2001), <strong>The West Wing<\/strong> (2001\u20132005), <strong>Nurse Jackie<\/strong> (2015), <strong>Prison Break<\/strong> (2017), and<strong> Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later<\/strong> (2017). He co-wrote <strong>the X-Files<\/strong> episode \u201dEve\u201c, which first aired on December 10, 1993. Brancato created and wrote Space Channel&#8217;s <strong>First Wave<\/strong>, which aired from 1998 to 2001, and also wrote the 1998 film<strong> Species II.<\/strong>\u00a0Brancato wrote the 1997 film<strong> Hoodlum<\/strong> set in crime-ridden 1930s New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Brancato was executive producer of the 2002 film <strong>Stealing Harvard<\/strong>. Brancato was also a writer\/producer for the critically acclaimed 2002\u20132003 television series <strong>Boomtown<\/strong>. Brancato wrote two episodes during season 12 of the long-running NBC legal drama, <strong>Law &amp; Order: Special Victims Unit<\/strong>, titled &#8220;Branded&#8221; and &#8220;Spectacle&#8221;. Brancato moved on to be executive producer\/show runner\/head writer for the tenth season of the USA Network police-procedural L<strong>aw &amp; Order: Criminal Intent<\/strong>, a show that is related to Law &amp; Order: SVU.<\/p>\n<p>Brancato did a police-procedural pilot for NBC titled <strong>Blue Tilt<\/strong>, where he was creator\/executive producer with Vincent D&#8217;Onofrio (Law &amp; Order: Criminal Intent) and Ethan Hawke, who were also set to star in the project as well. On May 11, 2012, NBC decided not to bring it, and other pilots, to series. He created the Netflix series <strong>Narcos<\/strong> and <strong>Narcos: Mexico <\/strong>with Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro. After going through several iterations, Brancato is credited as a co-screenwriter for third <strong>Sherlock Holmes<\/strong> film along with Joel Silver, Susan Downey and Lionel Wigram returning as producers, and Village Roadshow returning as co-producer. Warner Bros. have confirmed the third film will include Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law. The film had an expected release date December 22, 2021. But is currently undated. Brancato is the screenwriter, executive producer, writer, and creator of the EPIX series <strong>Godfather of Harlem<\/strong> starring Forest Whitaker.<\/p>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1774669342741533\" data-ad-slot=\"1211148813\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<p><strong>Guillermo Navarro<\/strong> is a Mexican cinematographer and television director. He has worked in Hollywood since 1994 and is a frequent collaborator of Guillermo del Toro and Robert Rodriguez. In 2007, he won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography and the Goya Award for Best Cinematography for del Toro&#8217;s <strong>Pan&#8217;s Labyrinth<\/strong>. His subsequent filmography runs the gamut from lower-budget arthouse and genre films to high-profile blockbusters like <strong>Hellboy<\/strong>, <strong>Zathura: A Space Adventure<\/strong>, <strong>Night at the Museum<\/strong>, and <strong>Pacific Rim<\/strong>. Navarro&#8217;s directing debut came with a 2012 music video for musician Mia Maestro titled &#8220;<strong>Blue Eyed Sailor<\/strong>&#8220;, co-directed with media artist Juan Azulay, also featuring son Alvaro Navarro&#8217;s cinematography.
