Adrian Teh<\/strong><\/a> is one of the renowned director and producer in Malaysia. He founded and presided over the Chinese Film Association of Malaysia in 2012, and organized Malaysia\u2019s first ever Chinese movies awards ceremony \u2013 the Golden Wau Awards \u2013 in 2013. He is highly recognized as one of the Top-10 Outstanding Youths of Malaysia in 2016, (JCI TOYM)\u00a0 and was named in the 2016 list of 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs (MIYE 2016).<\/sup><\/p>\n

Adrian has directed numerous Malaysian Chinese movies, including \u201cLelio Popo<\/strong>\u201d , \u201cThe Wedding Diary<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cThe Wedding Diary 2<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cKing of Mahjong<\/strong>\u201d & etc. In 2018, he directed Malaysia\u2019s first military action-packed movie that is based on true events – \u201cPASKAL : The Movie<\/strong>\u201d. PASKAL recorded RM30.08 million in box office sales across Malaysia and Singapore.<\/sup><\/p>\n

Luis Pedron<\/strong> is a Director, Actor, Founder and Film Festival Director of the International Film Festival Manhattan, New York, now in its 13th edition, proudly promoting Filipino, Asian, Scandinavian and European films and presenting them in New York. \ud83d\udc49https:\/\/iffmusa.com\/ A winner of numerous awards as a director and actor, he has been a voting member of the SAG Awards\u00ae (Screen Actor Guild \/ AFTRA (SAGAFTRA) Union) since 1998. Pedron was also co-founder\/organizer of the Soho International Film Festival New York(USA 2010, 2011), director of the Asians on Film Festival North Hollywood California (USA 2013), director of the One FILAM Film Festival Hollywood California (USA 2013), director of the Viva Latino International Film Festival New York (USA 2015) and juror of the Sundayag Film Festival Philippines 2022. \"Reversi<\/p>\n

Reversi<\/strong> : Ah, the old temporal hokey-pokey\u2014that’s what Reversi, Adrian Teh’s chrono-melodrama, is all about. Imagine, if you will, being blessed (or cursed) with the ability to shimmy back through the sands of time, to cha-cha with chance and foxtrot with fate. Our protagonist, Akid (played with soulful intensity by Beto Kusyairy), is a police negotiator who moonlights as a time-traveler, courtesy of a genetic quirk passed down from his father. But here’s the rub: every jaunt into the past takes a bite out of Akid’s lifespan, like a temporal tapeworm nibbling away at his mortality. Teh, usually known for his pedal-to-the-metal action flicks, shifts into a more introspective gear, weaving a mournful tapestry of love, loss, and the crushing weight of what-ifs. When tragedy strikes Akid’s wife and son, he’s sucked into a vortex of despair, desperately trying to rewrite history like a manic screenwriter on a deadline. Kusyairy’s performance is a slow-burn symphony of anguish, each doomed decision etched onto his furrowed brow. “Reversi” is a poignant reminder that the past is a foreign country, and sometimes the only way to move is forward.<\/p>\n
