Dennis Quaid<\/b>\u00a0is an American actor and the brother of Randy Quaid. He is known for his leading man roles in film and television. The Guardian named Quaid one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination.<\/p>\n

Quaid received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his role in\u00a0Far from Heaven<\/b>\u00a0(2002). Quaid also acted in\u00a0The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia<\/b>\u00a0(1981),\u00a0Jaws 3-D<\/b>\u00a0(1983),\u00a0Come See the Paradise<\/b>\u00a0(1990),\u00a0Any Given Sunday<\/b>\u00a0(1999),\u00a0Traffic<\/b>\u00a0(2000),\u00a0American Dreamz<\/b>\u00a0(2006),\u00a0Footloose (<\/b>2011),\u00a0Playing for Keeps<\/b>\u00a0(2012),\u00a0Truth<\/b>\u00a0(2015),\u00a0Midway<\/b>\u00a0(2019),\u00a0Strange World<\/b>\u00a0(2022), and\u00a0The Substance<\/b>\u00a0(2024). He portrayed President Bill Clinton in the HBO film\u00a0The Special Relationship<\/b>\u00a0(2010), for which Quaid earned nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. Penelope Ann Miller<\/b>\u00a0is an American actress. She began her career on Broadway in the original run of\u00a0Biloxi Blues<\/b>\u00a0(1985\u20131986), later appearing in the 1988 film adaptation of the same name. After playing small roles in the comedies Adventures in\u00a0Babysitting<\/b>\u00a0(1987) and\u00a0Big Top Pee-wee<\/b>\u00a0(1988), and receiving a Tony Award nomination for her leading role in the Broadway revival of\u00a0Our Town<\/b>\u00a0(1988\u20131989), Miller came to prominence with a succession of major parts in films such as\u00a0The Freshman<\/b>,\u00a0Awakenings<\/b>,\u00a0Kindergarten Cop<\/b>\u00a0(all 1990),\u00a0Other People\u2019s Money<\/b>\u00a0(1991),\u00a0Chaplin<\/b>\u00a0(1992),\u00a0The Shadow<\/b>\u00a0(1994), and\u00a0The Relic<\/b>\u00a0(1997).<\/p>\n

For her portrayal of exotic dancer Gail in\u00a0Carlito\u2019s Way<\/b>\u00a0(1993), she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.
