Amazon has unveiled the initial trailer for the live-action adaptation of the popular anime\u3000Oshi no KO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The story of twin sisters Aqua and Ruby, who are given another chance at life thanks to their idol mother, AI Hoshino, is the focus of the eight-episode series that will premiere on Prime Video on Nov. 28. A captivating story involving twins trying to uncover the conspiracy surrounding their mother’s death is showcased in the trailer, which combines elements of tragedy and J-pop.<\/p>\n

Oshi\u00a0no\u00a0Ko<\/strong>\u00a0wrapped up its run for Season 2 of the anime series earlier this Summer, and has been such a\u00a0success that the anime is already in the works for Season 3. But that\u2019s not all fans are going to get to see this year as\u00a0Oshi no\u00a0Ko<\/strong>\u00a0is the next major franchise getting the live-action treatment.\u00a0Oshi no Ko<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0will be branching out with a new live-action movie and TV series beginning later this year.<\/p>\n

And the newest look at these live-action projects have showcased more of the cast and how they will be bringing Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari\u2019s original manga to screens.<\/p>\n

  Hana Matsumoto and Smith will be directing the Oshi no Ko<\/strong> live-action series, with Smith then handling the directing duties for the film. Ayako Kitagawa wrote the scripts, and fox capture plan is composing the music. The new feature film will then be launching in theaters across Japan beginning on December 20th, but it has yet to be revealed how the two will be connected nor if this new film will be releasing in international territories outside of Japan as of the time of this publication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
