Billy Crystal and Adam Brody are among the growing list of celebrities who have lost their homes in the deadly Los Angeles fires. The homes are among the more than 2,000 structures that have been destroyed as six separate blazes burn in and around the city.<\/p>\n

Some of the worst devastation has been in the Pacific Palisades, where a wind-fueled infernos exploded from several hundred acres. The Los Angeles fires have expanded to more than 15,000 acres since Tuesday, Jan. 7. A large portion of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, which stretches down hillside streets in the Santa Monica Mountains to beaches along the Pacific Ocean, has been reduced to ash.<\/p>\n

Crystal said in a statement that he and his wife Janice were heartbroken by the loss of their Pacific Palisades home. The duo had lived in the house since 1979.<\/p>\n

The When Harry Met Sally<\/em><\/strong> star said in a statement: “We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”<\/p>\n

Casino<\/em><\/strong> star James Woods broke down in tears on CNN as he described losing his Pacific Palisades property. “One day you’re swimming in the pool and the next day it’s all gone,” he told the network.<\/p>\n

A home belonging to Brody, who currently stars on the new hit Netflix show Nobody Wants This<\/em><\/strong>, and his wife, Gossip Girl<\/em><\/strong> alum Leighton Meester, was also destroyed.<\/p>\n

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton said she had lost her house in Malibu. She wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>: “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.<\/p>\n

“This home is where we built so many precious memories… My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires,” the reality show star added.<\/p>\n

The Hills<\/em><\/strong> alum Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag also lost their home in the blaze. “I’m watching our house burn down on the security cameras,” Pratt posted. His wife added: “So our house is on fire and we were able to get out in time, but I keep going over and over in my mind of the things I should’ve got, but we’re out safe and that is the most important thing.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Former This Is Us<\/em><\/strong> actress Mandy Moore posted a video of the scene of destruction on Instageam<\/a> as she evacuated her home. “Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets).<\/p>\n

“Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family. My children’s school is gone,” the singer continued.<\/p>\n

“So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too. Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together,” Moore added.<\/p>\n

Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, reportedly lost their house in the Pacific Palisades. Posting on Instagram, Sperry shared a picture of the fires.<\/p>\n

Actors Sir Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Anna Faris and Cary Elwes also reportedly lost their homes. Other stars forced to flee include Mark Hamill and Eugene Levy.<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram, Hamill called the blaze the “most horrific” since 1993, when 18,000 acres burned and destroyed 323 homes in Malibu. He added that he evacuated his Malibu house “so last-minute there [were] small fires on both sides of the road.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Levy informed local media that there was “black and intense” smoke over Temescal Canyon. “I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark,” he told the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n

Jamie Lee Curtis, meanwhile, has said her home was safe. But “Obviously, there have been horrific fires in many places. This is literally where I live. Everything from the market I shop in to the schools my kids go to. Friends – many, many, many friends – now have lost their homes,” the Oscar winner stated.<\/p>\n

Curtis and her husband, fellow actor Christopher Guest, pledged $1 million “to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Legendary songwriter Diane Warren<\/a> also lost her house. She posted a picture of the beachfront near her home, saying that the property she’s had for close to three decades was gone.<\/p>\n

Police Academy<\/strong><\/em> actor Steve Guttenberg stayed in his neighboehood to help firefighters. He moved cars to clear a path for incoming fire trucks. He urged fellow Pacific Palisades residents to leave the keys in their abandoned cars so they could be moved.<\/p>\n

The series of wildfires in the L.A. area have displaced more than 80,000 people. The first fire started in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, with the Eaton Fire following. By late Wednesday morning, it had exploded to 10,000 acres across Pasadena and Altadena. By 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, the Woodley Fire was ablaze, seizing 75 acres in its wake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Northward of that, the Hurst Fire sparked around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A fifth blaze, the Tyler Fire, sparked west of L.A. near Coachella.<\/p>\n

Officials say the current death toll is unknown. However, the most updated report states that at least five people have lost their lives in the disaster. So far, 130,000 people have also been ordered to evacuate.<\/p>\n

The current Los Angeles fires are already being called the most destructive one in the history of Los Angeles County. More than 27,000 acres have been impacted so far, according to the Los Angeles Times<\/a>. <\/em>Twenty square miles of territory has already been ruined.<\/p>\n

Besides the dozens of celebrities who are being forced to evacuate, orders in place are covering most of the city.<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of the deadly Los Angeles fires, the Oscar nominations have also been postponed by two days. Film premieres for Unstoppable<\/em><\/strong>, Better Man<\/em><\/strong> and Wolfman<\/strong><\/em>, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations announcement, are among the events that have been cancelled.<\/p>\n
