It\u2019s been a few years since Noah Pritzker\u2019s indie dramedy, <\/span>Ex-Husbands<\/i><\/b>, premiered at the <\/span>San Sebastian Film Festival<\/span><\/a> back in 2023, but it\u2019s now finally available to watch in theaters with its heartfelt story about an older man going through a divorce, just as his son is dealing with his own relationship crisis ahead of his wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film stars Griffin Dunne as dentist Peter Pearce, who is going through a tough divorce from his wife of 35 years, Maria (Rosanna Arquette, reuniting with Dunne after their breakout 1985 film, <\/span>After Hours<\/i><\/b>!), when his younger son Mickey (Miles Heizer from <\/span>13 Reasons Why<\/i><\/b>) invites Peter to the Mexico bachelor party for his older son, Nick (James Norton). Once there, Peter feels out of place but tries to fit in and makes new friends at the resort where they\u2019re all staying, not realizing that James is also having problems that might lead to him having to cancel his wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ex-Husbands<\/i><\/b> is a wonderfully warm and poignant indie film that showcases a terrific performance by Dunne, surrounded by a brilliant cast put together by Pritzker, including Emmy-winning actor, Richard Benjamin as Peter\u2019s father.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ex-Husbands<\/i><\/b> is now playing at the <\/span>Village East Cinemas<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>New Plaza Cinema<\/span><\/a> in New York City, and then on Monday, it opens at the <\/span>Laemmle Royal<\/span><\/a> for one night, plays the Monica Film Center on Wednesday, then will be playing there and at the Town Center 5 next weekend<\/span><\/p>\n
