The Screen Actors Guild Awards presented its coveted Actor statuettes for the outstanding motion picture and television performances of the past year at the\u00a031st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards<\/b>. The ceremony, hosted by\u00a0Kristen Bell<\/b>, was produced by Silent House Productions in partnership with SAG-AFTRA and streamed live globally on Netflix. The 31st Annual SAG Awards will be available to stream on Netflix for 28 days after the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Demi Moore, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet,<\/b>\u00a0Kieran Culkin\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Zoe Salda\u00f1a\u00a0<\/b>were honored with individual awards for performances in motion pictures, and\u00a0Anna Sawai, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jean Smart, Martin Short, Jessica Gunning,<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Colin Farrell<\/b>\u00a0were honored for performances in television. The Actor\u00ae for a motion picture cast performance went to \u201cCONCLAVE<\/b>\u201d and the Actors\u00ae for television drama and comedy ensemble performances went to \u201cSH\u014cGUN<\/b>\u201d and \u201cONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING<\/b>.\u201d\u00a0<\/b>The Screen Actors Guild Awards originated awards for motion picture cast and ensembles in drama and comedy television series.<\/p>\n

Legendary actress and activist\u00a0Jane Fonda\u00a0<\/b>was\u00a0<\/b>honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievements and humanitarian accomplishments. The award was presented to her by\u00a0Julia Louis-Dreyfus.<\/b><\/p>\n

Earlier in the day,\u00a0<\/b>the\u00a0<\/b>honorees for outstanding action performances were revealed during the\u00a031st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Official Pre-Show\u00a0<\/b>by\u00a0SAG Awards Ambassadors Sofia Carson and Noah Centineo.\u00a0<\/b>The stunt ensemble from \u201cTHE FALL GUY<\/b>\u201d was honored for motion picture and the stunt ensemble from \u201cSH\u014cGUN<\/b>\u201d\u00a0<\/b>was honored for television.<\/p>\n

Nominees \u2013 voted on by their respective film and television nominating committees \u2013 were announced on Jan. 8, 2025. The two nominating panels were each composed of 2,500 randomly selected SAG-AFTRA members from across the United States. Final voting opened to 118,000+ SAG-AFTRA members in good standing on Jan. 15 and balloting closed on Feb. 21. Integrity Voting Systems, the Awards’ official election firm, sealed the results until they were announced live during the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.<\/p>\n
