Despite having a $26 million budget, &#8216;Roses&#8217; was well received and earned $160 million worldwide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tony McNamara is behind the new version, having written for &#8220;Poor Things&#8221; and &#8216;The Favorite&#8221;. Additionally, McNamara developed Hulu&#8217;s &#8220;<strong>The Great<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1774669342741533\" data-ad-slot=\"1211148813\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<p class=\"p1\">The narrative centers on Ivy (<a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/?s=Olivia+Colman\">Olivia Colman<\/a>) and Theo (<a href=\"https:\/\/cinemadailyus.com\/?s=Benedict+Cumberbatch\">Benedict Cumberbatch<\/a>), the picture-perfect couple who have achieved success, great children, and an envied sexual life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The ideal family&#8217;s facade is a tinderbox of competition and resentment that is ignited when Theo&#8217;s professional dreams fall apart, In the trailer, the comedy seems to be more broad, with a lighter tone than the original.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The film also stars Kate McKinnon, Andy Samberg, Ncuti Gatwa, Sunita Mani, Zo\u00eb Chao, Jamie Demetriou and Belinda Bromilow.
