Matthew Schuchman<\/strong> : In the early 90s, while at the video store with his friends who wanted to rent Don\u2019t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead, Matthew asked the clerk if they had any copies of Naked Lunch available. A film buff from an early age, he would turn his fascination into his own review site in 2010; Movie Review from Gene Shalit\u2019s Moustache. From there, he provided his voice to such publications as Den of Geek, Coming Soon, and Verbicide magazine as a film reviewer and talent interviewer.<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n

It’s the ever famous discourse. Who do you like more in the battle of the great British Invasion of the 60? The Beatles or The Rolling Stones? And yes, you can’t deny how important The Beatles are to modern music. Of course, they are more important that any modern rock outfit. But, if you ask me, I’d rather listen to The Zombies<\/a>, all day long.<\/p>\n

With hits everyone knows such as She’s Not There<\/a> and Time of the Season<\/a>, The Zombies are the band that everyone knows, even if they don’t realize it. Now, Robert Schwartzman has chosen the seminal rock group as the subject of his first film.<\/p>\n

Titles after another missed classic of The Zombies, Hung Up on a Dream delves through the groups history, initial break-up, continued production, and even those faux-Zombies groups that were sent out on tour when the group first called it quits. We spoke with The Zombies front-man, Colin Blunstone<\/a> and director Robert Schwartzman about the film and what makes The Zombies so timeless.<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n
