The prestigious panel will award coveted honors across 15 competition categories at the festival, taking place June 4 \u201315 in New York City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This year&#8217;s jury brings together a prolific collection of creative forces\u2014from international stars and Oscar winners to cult icons and comedy trail blazers. Notable names include Jennifer Beals, Matthew Broderick, Ilana Glazer, Art Linson, Kyle MacLachlan, Mira Sorvino, alongside other visionaries tasked with discovering tomorrow&#8217;s breakthrough talents. In addition, the Nora Ephron Award will honor an exceptional female filmmaker who represents the spirit and vision of the legendary filmmaker and writer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe\u2019re proud to welcome an eclectic group of jurors to this year\u2019s\u00a0Tribeca\u00a0Festival,\u201d said\u00a0<b>Nancy Lefkowitz, EVP at\u00a0Tribeca\u00a0Enterprises<\/b>. \u201cTheir breadth of expertise across genres will be instrumental in recognizing standout storytellers and honoring bold new voices from around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">More than 30 industry luminaries were selected to honor feature-length and short film categories, composed of narrative and documentary films. Currently in post-production on\u00a0<i>28 Years Later: The Bone Temple<\/i>, she recently wrote, directed, and produced\u00a0<i>Hedda<\/i>\u00a0starring Tessa Thompson. In 2023, DaCosta made history as the first Black woman and youngest director to helm a Marvel Studios film with\u00a0<i>The Marvels<\/i>. Her 2021 reimagining of\u00a0<i>Candyman<\/i>\u00a0debuted at #1 at the box office to critical acclaim. Her\u00a0Tribeca\u00a0Festival 2018 debut feature\u00a0<i>Little Woods<\/i>\u00a0earned a 96% Rotten Tomatoes rating. Her television work includes Netflix&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Top Boy<\/i>\u00a0and HBO&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Industry<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Art Linson<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Award-winning producer Art Linson has created landmark films across five decades, including\u00a0<i>Fight Club<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Heat<\/i>,\u00a0<i>The Untouchables<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Fast Times at Ridgemont High<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Into the Wild<\/i>, and two-time Oscar\u00ae winner\u00a0<i>Melvin and Howard<\/i>. With partner John Linson, he executive produces cable television&#8217;s most popular scripted series\u00a0<i>Yellowstone<\/i>\u00a0and its hit prequels\u00a0<i>1883<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>1923<\/i>. Linson authored\u00a0<i>A Pound of Flesh<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>What Just Happened?<\/i>, the latter adapted into a film starring Robert De Niro.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Joshua Marston<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Joshua Marston is a Brooklyn-based independent filmmaker and television director. His first film,\u00a0<i>Maria Full of Grace<\/i>, won the Audience Award at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival and went on to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. His second film,\u00a0<i>The Forgiveness of Blood\u00a0<\/i>(available on the Criterion Collection), premiered at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival, where it was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay.<b>\u00a0<\/b>His most recent film,\u00a0<i>Come Sunday\u00a0<\/i>(starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Martin Sheen, Jason Segel and Danny Glover) became available on Netflix after having its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Marston wrote and directed the Coney Island section of\u00a0<i>New York, I Love You<\/i>, starring Cloris Leachman and Eli Wallach, and has directed episodes of\u00a0<i>Tulsa King, Billions, Ray Donovan, The Newsroom<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Six Feet Under\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0<i>In Treatment<\/i>. Early film appearances in\u00a0<i>The Count of Monte Cristo<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Running with Scissors<\/i>\u00a0paved the way for recent acclaimed roles in the Oscar-nominated\u00a0<i>The Lost Daughter<\/i>\u00a0(directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal) and as Ann Beaulieu in Sofia Coppola&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Priscilla<\/i>. Television audiences recognize her as the &#8220;stealth MVP&#8221; Karolina Novotney in HBO&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Succession<\/i>\u00a0and as &#8220;dogged and restrained&#8221; FBI agent Erika Jensen in the miniseries\u00a0<i>We Own This City<\/i>.
