Searching for a family adventure that won\u2019t break the bank? Coming to Netflix this fall, In Your Dreams<\/span><\/a> takes you on a fantastical journey from the comfort of your own home.<\/p>\n

In this enchanting tale, Stevie (voiced by Jolie Hoang-Rappaport) and her brother, Elliot (voiced by Elias Janssen), venture through an absurd world of their own imagination to make their family perfect again. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, their dream just might come true.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by Alex Woo, In Your Dreams\u00a0is a magical saga with plenty of heart. Erik Benson joined as co-director and writer, and Tim Hahn and Gregg Taylor as producers.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s\u00a0In Your Dreams\u00a0about?<\/b><\/p>\n

When 12-year-old Stevie and her 8-year-old brother, Elliot, discover\u00a0a magical picture book that says the Sandman can make any dream a reality, the duo\u00a0embark on a life-affirming journey into the dream realm to find the mythical character. Longing to make their family perfect, the duo urgently wish for it to come true.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my favorite things to do as a kid was to wake my brother up in the middle of the night and annoy him with accounts of my weird and crazy dreams,\u201d Woo, who crafted the story with Stanley Moore, told Netflix. \u201cWhen I had the opportunity to make my first feature film, I knew exactly what it was going to be about. .<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I started this film, I set out to tell a heartfelt story that explored the magical and often hilariously absurd world of dreams. What I didn\u2019t expect was how memorable and emotional the performances were going to be. I guess that\u2019s what happens when you\u2019re lucky enough to have Simu Liu and Craig Robinson in your cast. Talk about a dream come true! But what I\u2019m most excited for audiences to experience is Stevie and Elliot\u2019s sibling story \u2014 the bickering, the bonding, and everything in between. It\u2019s ultimately why we share our weird and crazy dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n

Who\u2019s in the cast?<\/b><\/p>\n

Cristin Milioti joins previously announced cast members Liu and Robinson in the forthcoming comic adventure. Also along for the ride are Hoang-Rappaport, Janssen, Gia Carides, Omid Djalili, SungWon Cho, and Zachary Noah Piser.<\/p>\n

\u201cCristin is an EGOT-level talent,\u201d Woo said. \u201cShe can sing. She can act. I haven\u2019t seen her dance, but I\u2019m sure she could give Ginger Rogers a run for her money. You believe every performance Cristin gives, and that\u2019s every director\u2019s dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n
