Exit 8<\/strong>“, which will be a Japanese movie that is based on the recent cult hit indie video game.<\/p>\nThe film depicts a man who is trapped in a sterile subway passageway that is endless. He sets out to find ‘Exit 8’ – the sole exit out of this confusing labyrinth.<\/p>\n
His quest has a simple set of rules: don’t overlook anything out of the ordinary. If you come across an anomaly, take immediate action. If you don’t, keep moving forward. Then exit ‘Exit 8’.<\/p>\n
If he makes even one mistake, it will bring him back to the beginning. Can he ever achieve his goal and escape from this endless corridor? An eight-minute standing ovation followed the film’s premiere at Cannes in May. Eight reviews have been posted on Rotten Tomatoes, and all of them are positive.<\/p>\n
The movie will debut in Japan on August 29th, followed by its release in the U.S. at a later date. Genki Kawamura has created a 95-minute film that stars Kazunari Ninomiya, Yamato Kochi, Nauru Asanuma, Kotone Hanase, and Nana Komatsu.<\/p>\n
