The trailer for Mike Figgis’ “Megadoc<\/strong>” has been released by Utopia after its Venice premiere. The feature length documentary focuses on Francis Ford Coppola’s decades-long journey to create his passion project “Megalopolis<\/strong>“, which he self-financed.<\/p>\n Oscar-nominated \u201cLeaving Las Vegas<\/strong>\u201d director Mike Figgis, directs the documentary, which combines archival material, unfiltered cast interviews, and plenty of footage from the set, revealing the chaotic nature of the production with conflicts, delays, and frustration.<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n Figgis was in charge of filming Megalopolis during rehearsals, the shoot, and post-production, with the assistance of Aubrey Plaza. Additionally, Figgis was hired as the cameraman for her newscaster character, Wow Platinum, during those rehearsals.<\/p>\n In addition, the documentary features footage of table reads from the early 2000s when Uma Thurman, Robert De Niro, and Ryan Gosling worked on them.
