Last Days<\/strong>“, which premiered in theaters on October 24th, has been released by Vertical.<\/p>\nThe film depicts the journey of 26-year-old American missionary John Allen Chau, who aims to fulfill his life’s mission by embarking on a treacherous adventure. His goal was to travel to North Sentinel Island in the Indian Ocean without permission and share his religion with the self-sufficient and indigenous Sentinelese people.<\/p>\n
An Indian police detective from the Andaman Islands is attempting to stop him from contacting him before he damages himself or the tribe.<\/p>\n
Chau tried to get in touch with the Sentinelese people multiple times before he was killed by the tribe in 2019. The Sentinelese tribisre is highly isolated and has a hostile attitude towards outsiders. The Indian Government, which guards the island to keep people out, won’t prosecute the Sentinelese for killing people if an outsider ventures there.<\/p>\n
