Manchester\u2019s story eventually captured the interest of filmmaker Derek Cianfrance (<\/span><b><i>Blue Valentine<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) and actor Channing Tatum. Together, they made the film <\/span><b><i>Roofman<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, telling Manchester\u2019s amazing story of how he escaped from prison and managed to evade the law for months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Roofman<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a terrific vehicle for Tatum\u2019s many talents, surrounding him with a fantastic cast that includes Oscar nominees Kirsten Dunst and Lakeith Stanfield, four-time Emmy winner Peter Dinklage, Emmy nominee Juno Temple, Ben Mendelsohn, Uzo Aduba, and more. This is a movie that actually tells Manchester\u2019s true story as accurately as possible while also delivering exactly what the movie\u2019s trailer promises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cinema Daily US<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> had a chance to speak with Cianfrance about the making of the movie and how he\u2019s going to try to have his next movie out sooner rather than later.
