The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York announced\u00a0the federal judge\u2019s sentence on Twitter<\/a> Wednesday.\u00a0<\/span>Mack, 38, was arrested in April 2018 and pleaded guilty to racketeering charges a year later.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>NPR<\/a> reported\u00a0that federal prosecutors urged leniency on the actress\u2019 behalf, noting she cooperated in the case against the organization\u2019s leader, <\/span>Keith Raniere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raniere was convicted in June 2019 on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, and sentenced to 120 years behind bars in October 2020.<\/p>\n
