Netflix has announced that the documentary \u201dOne Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0will debut on January 12th.<\/p>\n The feature-length documentary, which offers an inside look at the years of effort and craft that went into the final installment of the Duffer Brothers’ generation-defining series, has been directed by Martina Radwan, who also directed \u201dTomorrow, Tomorrow Tomorrow.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n The trailer shows scenes from the final table read with numerous actors in tears. The younger cast, the writers’ room, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer are all shown in plenty of video as they finish the series.<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n In a statement, the Duffer brothers say: \u201cGrowing up in Durham, North Carolina, we dreamed of becoming filmmakers \u2013 but Hollywood felt impossibly far away. Everything changed when we watched the behind-the-scenes documentaries for \u2018The Lord of the Rings\u2019 \u2013 on-the-ground films that showed the real nuts and bolts of how a massive production actually gets made. We saw how stressed Peter Jackson was and thought: yep, that\u2019s the dream.<\/i><\/p>\n With the decline of physical media, that kind of behind-the-scenes storytelling has largely disappeared. We wanted to bring it back. “One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things Season 5<\/strong>” \u2013 beautifully captured and directed by Martina Radwan \u2013 is our attempt to do just that.
