Lionsgate<\/a>\u2019s upcoming prequel film \u201cJohn Rambo<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d which is currently in production,\u201d Sylvester Stallone<\/a> served as an executive producer. Noah Centineo (“The Recruit”<\/strong>, “Street Fighter<\/strong>“) is the star of the project, which was shot in Thailand in late January, that takes place during the Vietnam War, years before the events of ‘First Blood’.<\/p>\n \u201cSisu\u201d helmer Jalmari Helander directs the project from a script by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani (\u201cThe Mauritanian<\/strong>,\u201d \u201cBlack Adam<\/strong>\u201d) with Millennium Media and AGBO also behind the project.
