Amazon Prime Video has revealed the teaser for “The Greatest<\/strong>,” the inaugural scripted series based on the legendary life of Muhammad Ali.<\/p>\n The series, filmed in Toronto just this past year, intends to highlight aspects of Ali that weren’t captured in documentaries \u2013 illustrating the life of the boxer outside the ring. The season begins in 1960, the year he, then known as Cassius Clay, wins the gold medal and competes through 1964, when he becomes the first heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n<\/ins>\n Galenn Best plays Ali, with Omari Hardwick and Dana Gourrier playing Cassius ‘Cash’ Clay Sr. and his wife Odessa ‘Bird’, respectively. Kai Parham portrays Ali’s sibling and fellow boxer Rudy. Amin Joseph will portray Ali’s rival Sonny Liston, with Michael Ealy taking on the role of Malcolm X.<\/p>\n Lonnie Ali, who is Ali’s widow, co-executive produces alongside actor\/producer\/filmmaker Michael B.
