The lineup includes three world premieres\u2014Ava DuVernay\u2019s &#8220;<i><strong>14th<\/strong>&#8220;<\/i>, Tony Gilroy\u2019s &#8220;<i><strong>Behemoth!<\/strong>&#8220;, <\/i>and Mani Haghighi\u2019s &#8220;<i><strong>I Deserve a Lover Whose Every Rise Sets Fiery Dooms Raging Across the Skies<\/strong>&#8220;<\/i><b>\u2014<\/b>seven North American premieres, and 13 U.S. premieres.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cIt\u2019s hard to recall a prior Main Slate program in which the state of the world has been as urgently reflected in so many creative ways,\u201d said Dennis Lim, Artistic Director,\u00a0New York Film Festival. \u201cYou could take any cross section of this lineup and come away with a vivid picture of what our present looks, sounds, and feels like.
