Starting in the mid-1990s, the clip shows young John Stewart watching an interview with a younger Hal Jordan portraying Henry Samiri, before experiencing some extremely unusual parenting methods. Then, in 2016, we encounter the mature John(played by Aaron Pierre) as he boards the older Hal Jordan(played by Kyle Chandler) in a vehicle.<\/p>\n

Following experienced Hal and John, the series investigates a murder in Rushville, Nebraska. Jordan believes it’s an extraterrestrial event, leading them to uncover deeper mysteries and confrontations. Set within James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Universe series, the tone resembles that of “True Detective” and other gritty dramas, which is characteristic of this network.<\/p>\n
Chris Mundy, who executive produces and serves as showrunner for “True Detective: Night Country,” collaborates with Damon Lindelof, the writer behind “Watchmen,” and comic book writer Tom King on the series.<\/p>\n
