That move has become official now with the hiring of Mike Verdu as vice president of game development, a position that will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Greg Peters, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-07-14\/netflix-plans-to-offer-video-games-in-expansion-beyond-films-tv\">Bloomberg<\/a>.
