Some may recognize her from <strong><em>The Addams Family<\/em><\/strong> or <strong><em>Casper<\/em><\/strong>, parts she took on when she was a child, while others have observed her more recent work playing real-life people like Lizzie Borden and Zelda Fitzgerald in television series, with plenty more in between.<\/p>\n<p>For her latest film, <strong><em>Here After<\/em><\/strong>, Ricci stars opposite theater actor Andy Karl as a gatekeeper of sorts who informs the recently-deceased Michael (Andy Karl) that he can\u2019t move on to whatever comes next until he finds a soulmate. Ricci describes her as a \u201creal bureaucrat who just loves rules.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I had the chance to speak with Ricci about <strong><em>Here After<\/em><\/strong>, many of her past works, and a little preview of what\u2019s coming next with Showtime\u2019s <strong><em>Yellowjackets<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>The Matrix 4<\/em><\/strong>.
